The Official NFL App on Windows 10, Xbox and NFL Mobile – free to download in the Windows Store
Watch the Super Bowl live with the official NFL app, a free download in the Windows Store on your Windows 10 devices or Xbox. This app gets extra points for it’s cool Next Gen Stats and Next Gen Replays which show player speed and position on the field thanks to data collected through RFID chips in players’ shoulder pads. Check out the season’s replays to add some smarts to your water cooler predictions for the big game this weekend. To get you started, here are some fun facts, brought to you by Next Gen Stats:
- The Carolina Panthers’ wide receiver Ted Ginn had the overall fastest run play in the NFL this season.
- Cam Newton was the only NFL quarterback to be in the top ten fastest play multiple times this season, showing the Panthers’ dynamic speed on offense.
- Not to be outdone, the Broncos have some speedsters of their own in C.J. Anderson who runs plays at an average of 20.64 MPH and Emmanuel Sanders at 18.68 MPH.
CBS Sports – free to download in the Windows and Xbox Store
Watch Super Bowl 50 LIVE on the CBS Sports app for Windows 10 and Xbox. The CBS Sports app on Windows 10 and Xbox devices will be the only platforms where fans can watch the game with multiple camera angles. Get the app now and then tune in Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 6:30 PM ET to catch every moment of the Big Game!
See who Cortana predicts will win the game
Cortana predicts 17-1 Carolina to win the Big Game with 64% probability. During the regular season, Carolina was the league’s #1 scoring offense and #6 scoring defense, while Denver was the #20 scoring offense and #4 scoring defense. Carolina’s rush offense was #2 vs #17 for Denver, and Denver’s rush defense was #3 while Carolina’s was #4. Both defenses are stout, so our models expect Carolina’s much stronger offense to be the difference, becoming the first 18 win champion in 30 years. All predictions are now found in the official NFL app on Windows 10 and Xbox so if you missed out this season, be sure to check it out next fall.
