Race fans, rejoice! Just in time for the 58th running of the Daytona 500, the NASCAR app for Windows 10 PCs and tablets that was announced last fall is getting an update with new content for the season. The NASCAR app for Windows 10 is also now available to download on your Windows phones. Now you’ll be able to catch all the action from this weekend’s events and throughout the season like listening in with live driver audio, even purchasing tickets to events across all of your Windows 10 devices.
The official app of NASCAR is the mobile destination for race fans, delivering breaking news, real-time video, live race leaderboards and video highlights straight to you.
Now with the help of Windows 10, NASCAR is delivering a richer, more customizable experience, making it easier for NASCAR fans to follow their favorite drivers throughout the season.
Just a few of the app’s enhanced capabilities include:
- Live driver audio – follow the conversations between NASCAR drivers, crew chiefs and driver spotters as teams work to position themselves for the win
- Live in-car cameras – ride alongside your favorite drivers with live, HD in-car video streams, allowing you to see what they see on track
- Live broadcast radio – stream the live radio broadcast straight from the app
- Social media content – new Facebook and Twitter feeds allow you to get the latest news on your favorite driver throughout the race
The NASCAR app now features Live Tile integration that allows users to pin their favorite drivers, race results and race schedules to the home screen. And with Windows 10, fans are always just one touch away from checking their NASCAR Fantasy lineup or purchasing race tickets. With Cortana integrated into the app, you can get updates on all things NASCAR by asking Cortana things like “NASCAR, when is the next race” or “NASCAR, show me the leaderboard”.
While NASCAR Mobile is available to all users for free, subscribers have access to the premium features including GPS-enabled driver positioning and customizable leaderboards (a one-time purchase of $24.99 does the trick).
With the support of Windows 10 and Microsoft, an Official Technology Partner of NASCAR, the sport is now bringing fans even closer to the racing action with a more immersive and personalized mobile experience. Download NASCAR for Windows 10 today. Now, let’s go racing!
