Ready for more Killer Instinct? Today, Microsoft Studios and developer Iron Galaxy Studios are celebrating the worldwide launch of Killer Instinct: Season 3 on Windows 10 and Xbox One. This latest chapter of the critically acclaimed one-on-one fighting series is packed with new characters, awesome customizations, and a slew of new content for Killer Instinct’s global fan base.
But, best of all: Season 3 brings cross-platform play – across all of Killer Instinct’s multi-season content – between Windows 10 and Xbox One players. All previous content and characters are now available for the first time to players on Windows 10 as well. And if you already own Killer Instinct on Xbox One, it gets even better: Everything you already own, earned, or purchased (characters, costumes, accessories, etc.) can be accessed on either the Xbox One or Windows 10 version. How’s that for awesome?

And Season 3 brings plenty of new ways to unleash your inner fighting spirit, including a quartet of brutal new characters. Martial artist Kim Wu and immortal barbarian Tusk join the fray, alongside two very special guest characters. Rash – one of the titular heroes from Rare’s Battletoads series – brings a unique fighting style to the game. And the Halo series’ Arbiter will definitely put the hurt on his (and your) opponents. All in all, Season 3 ups the roster to a total of 26 fighters, which is sure to lead to plenty of awesome Ultra Combos.
