Masterpass, the omni-channel digital payment service from Mastercard, is connecting with Microsoft Wallet. You’ll soon be able to shop at hundreds of thousands of online merchants that accept Masterpass.

The Masterpass vision is to support all forms of commerce to address the full range of consumer needs. In bringing two iconic consumer brands together, users of Windows 10 phones, tablets and desktops that are also Mastercard cardholders will have a simple and secure way to pay online.

Why else are we excited to be working with Microsoft?

Reach: With more than 400 million monthly active devices now running Windows 10, the Windows platform represents a great way to reach consumers in the U.S. and around the world.

Security: Masterpass, which already has multiple layers of security including EMV standard tokenization and encryption, will get even more secure with Windows Hello technology.

Acceptance: Masterpass today is helping hundreds of thousands of merchants across the world accept millions of secure transactions. Tthis partnerships will enable Microsoft Wallet to reach a growing network of online merchants in a simple and secure way.

Windows devices offer a versatile computing platform for consumers and we are excited to bring the best payment experience to these devices.
