You can now pre-order “Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition” – which releases Nov. 14 – at the Microsoft Store and Steam. It has four brand-new civilizations, three new campaigns, cross-network play and a transport ship full of game improvements. You’ll also be able to play it using the Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta).

And now, you can also play the definitive first chapter of the “Age of Empires” franchise (“Age of Empires: Definitive Edition”) on Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) and buy it from the Microsoft Store and Steam. It now supports cross-network play across all available platforms, which means you can now play with anyone, anywhere.
