Windows 10 Tip: Create new events from the taskbar

Editor’s note: We’re back with the latest weekly Windows 10 tips posts, which highlight some of the many helpful features that come with the Windows 10 November 2019 Update. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to make your daily life easier with a streamlined update process, as well as clean and simple experiences for your desktop.

If you click on the date and time at the lower right corner of the taskbar, it opens into a calendar flyout that shows the itinerary of any date you choose, which is convenient by itself. But did you know that now you can create new events and reminders there?

Pick your date and start typing in the text box – you’ll now see inline options to set a time and location.
