CES 2024: ASUS introduces Zenbook Duo (2024), Zenbook 14, Vivobook S series and Zephyrus G16

At CES 2024, ASUS unveiled an extensive new lineup of Windows 11 powered PCs that includes the Zenbook DUO, Intel and AMD versions of Zenbook 14 OLED, Vivobook S series and Zephyrus G16 for gamers. 

The new lineup features the latest AI-powered Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen 8040 series processors, which offer better graphic performance, faster response and increased power efficiency so users can effortlessly multitask and take advantage of the latest AI-enabled applications for enhanced creativity and productivity.  

Across these PCs, help is always at hand with Microsoft Copilot in Windows 11. Some of these laptops have the new built-in Copilot key, providing faster access to your everyday AI companion in Windows 11, harnessing the capabilities of AI to make the things you do every day easier.  Features include helping you summarize web pages and change settings.

Screen real estate is something that makes the Zenbook DUO stand out. At its full size, it can instantly expand the visual workspace to up to 19.8 inches, with up to 3K 120 Hz ASUS Lumina OLED 16:10 displays, joined by a lay-flat 180-degree hinge. Thanks to the integrated kickstand and detachable keyboard, it can be used in vertical or horizontal orientations such as laptop, dual screen, desktop or sharing.  

It also has a detachable full-size Bluetooth ASUS ErgoSense keyboard and touchpad. With Intel Evo Edition certification, this laptop combines multitasking versatility with mobility in less than  three-pounds. It maximizes productivity and play throughout the day with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor with an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for AI acceleration, up to  32 GB of LPDDR5x memory, up to a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, a long-lifespan 75 Wh battery and a Harman Kardon-certified Dolby Atmos audio system. Zenbook DUO is designed with sustainability and durability in mind. It incorporates a variety of recycled materials, and is durability tested to MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards to maximize the PC’s lifespan.

New additions to the Zenbook series of premium ultraportable laptops include two models of the Zenbook 14 OLED, each powered by either an up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and Intel Arc graphics (UX3405)*, or the latest AMD Ryzen 8040 series processors and AMD Radeongraphics (UM3406). 

Both processor platforms incorporate the latest advances in dedicated hardware AI acceleration, with built-in AI engines that optimize performance and power efficiency. Seize every moment using the enhanced extended-life 75 Wh battery and connect via essential I/O ports.  The user-friendly design incorporates an FHD IR camera, enabling Windows Hello, with a physical shutter for privacy, and a new quiet ASUS ErgoSense keyboard with a large ErgoSense touchpad.

The thin-and-light ASUS Vivobook S series now includes new 14-, 15.6- and 16-inch models, powered by either Intel or AMD. 

The Intel Evo Edition ASUS Vivobook S series laptops (S5406 / S5506 / S5606) are powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, with up to a 45-watt TDP and a built-in NPU that provides power-efficient acceleration for modern AI applications. The AMD-powered ASUS Vivobook S series laptops (M5406 / M5506 / M5606) are equipped with AMD Ryzen 8040 Series processors, boasting a TDP of up to 45 watts and built-in Ryzen AI acceleration for efficient performance in modern AI applications. Both the Intel and AMD versions have the Copilot key.

ROG Zephyrus G16

Over on the gaming front, the new ROG Zephyrus G16 is one of the first Republic of Gaming laptops to feature a Nebula Display with an OLED panel. ROG collaborated with NVIDIA and Samsung Display to refine the refresh rate and sync the processes of this panel. This is the first OLED panel supporting G-sync, which means it meets the ROG Nebula standard. Thinner and lighter than ever thanks to a complete redesign, it gives players customizable lighting patterns. It also comes with an ASUS ErgoSense RGB keyboard, an extra-large touchpad and 75 Wh long-lasting battery life. They also come with three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, giving players access to hundreds of high-quality games on PC, console and cloud.
