XBOX, The Coalition and NVIDIA announce a PC partnership for Gears of War: E-Day

Gears of War: E-Day, which is set to launch Oct. 6, represents a return to the franchise’s origins — grounded in emotional storytelling, brutal combat and cinematic scale. Bringing that world to life on a PC requires pushing the boundaries of graphics technology.

As the exclusive PC partner of this game, NVIDIA is collaborating closely with XBOX and game studio The Coalition to enhance the game’s PC experience through deep integration with GeForce RTX technologies, performance optimization and launch support.

“Built on DirectX 12, we’re focused on delivering a great experience across console and PC,” says Mike Perzel, The Coalition’s rendering lead. “Partnering with NVIDIA gives us the opportunity to further enhance that world for PC players with the performance, responsiveness and visual fidelity PC players expect.”
