Over 100 million ThinkPad devices sold and Lenovo announces more at CES

Lenovo had some big announcements today at CES. They have officially shipped over one hundred million ThinkPad devices to customers all across the world! Congrats, Lenovo! In addition, they have announced new members of the ThinkPad portfolio including the new and improved ThinkPad X1 Carbon (a crowd favorite here at Microsoft), and last but not least, the ThinkVision X24.

If you have had your eye on the Lenovo X1 Carbon, then seeing this third generation may be just what you needed to justify getting one for yourself. It offers new features like WQHD display and PCle SSD for great screen viewing (like when you are working (or watching movies) on the plane) and up to an 80% faster storage experience.

This X1 Carbon boasts all day battery life while staying under three pounds (especially impressive when you consider that it has a 14” display). It is powered by the new Windows and an Intel Core i processor so it will be ready for whatever work you can throw at it.

Finally, let’s move on to the ThinkVision X24—this beautiful display is 7.5 mm thin and is guaranteed to spruce up any desk or office. It features an IPS panel with Full HD resolution and a DisplayPort or HDMI connectivity so you can easily connect it to your laptop or desktop.
