Smile, snap, share

The Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM have not one but two 2-megapixel cameras–one on the back and one on the front. Both cameras include LED flash so each and every picture will be perfectly illuminated, day and night.

Taking and sharing your selfies is as easy as ever. Activate the camera using the shortcut camera key, look at your phone, and smile before taking the shot. When you’re happy with the photo, just hit the “share” button and upload your special moments to social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and GroupMe by Skype. [1]

Handy entertainment and gaming devices

It’s simple to keep yourself entertained with the Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM.

With a 2.8-inch screen you can play your favorite videos again and again using the video player, listen to radio stations on the FM radio, or use the MP3 player for your personal music library. With memory card support up to 32 GB, that’s potentially a lot of entertainment.

The Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM are also good for gaming. The Opera Store has plenty of games (and apps, incidentally) to choose from, but if you’re looking for inspiration, you can download one free Gameloft game every month for a year. Titles include “Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood” and “Midnight Pool 3.” [1]

Browsing the Web is fast and simple using Bing Search and the Opera Mini Browser. [1] And no more guessing what the weather forecast looks like for the next five days–MSN Weather can provide meteorological assistance.

Full of life

The Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM are designed to be robust so that no matter where you are you’ll always be able to take a selfie, listen to music, or make a call.

Both devices feature an aluminium back cover–available in silver or dark silver–that look and feel great in the hand.

Keeping the conversation flowing with your friends or family via phone isn’t a problem.

Talk time is up to 23 hours for both devices, with a standby time of up to 27 days for the Nokia 230 Single SIM and up to 22 days for the Nokia 230 Dual SIM. Need a flashlight for the darker hours? The phones’ LED flash can double as a torch.

The Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM cost $55 USD before local taxes and subsidies and will be available around the world with sales starting in December in India, Asia, and the Middle East. Other markets will follow in 2016.
