GLOBAL – Ovi Maps is storming now the addition of free navigation and additional services have arrived (see Mike’s video roundup story earlier). Last year the folks behind Ovi Maps released the first developer Ovi SDK, basically making it easier for developers to create innovative apps and services that utilise the best of Ovi Maps. Already we’ve seen a glut of new services announced with the new Ovi Maps. With information such as Michelin Guides for restaurants and Lonely Planet guides for traveling, Ovi Maps is rapidly laying the foundations for location based services right there on your phone.
