Nokia N86 captures the day

Nokia N86 timelapse screen shotsGLOBAL – We’ve always known that the photogenic Nokia N86 8MP is a snap-taking titan. It’s Nokia’s first 8-megapixel CMOS sensor sporting handset and comes with photo features usually found only on a dedicated camera. It’s also pretty nifty at the old time lapse trick too, judging by a recent video highlighted to us by its creator. Watch the video and read more after the jump.

Filmed in Subang Jaya, Malaysia by Cheng Wei Lau this time lapse video starts at sunrise and ends at sunset and all the footage is captured using a Nokia N86. Snapping pics at 30 second intervals this video managed to capture the whole day in 1min 19 seconds. It’s a great video and certainly showcases the imaging prowess of the Nokia N86 and it’s handy 8GB onboard storage.

We’ll leave it there and let the video speak for itself.

Also check out the video below for another time lapse treat.  This time round symbiandreams uses over 100 shots captured in sequence mode on a Nokia N86 to create this fantastic vid.

We’ve shared fantastic pictures with you from around the world from various Nokia Flickr accounts in our Nokia World series but it’s great to see some videos being shared. Do you think you could do any better? Have you uploaded videos onto YouTube captured using your Nokia phones? Let us know in the comments below.
