GLOBAL – Some great videos have been produced using the Nokia N8 – we’ve highlighted the likes of The Commuter, Dragonfly Love and Dot in previous posts. They were created by professional film makers, of course. But we’re sure they aren’t the only ones that can produce outstanding work using the device. Now it’s the turn of regular users to strut their stuff in competition for a fantastic prize.

Here’s how it works:

1. Make a really good video using your Nokia N8 – if you need it, you can apply for special equipment like the head-mount below, and even the device itself, if you can convince the judging panel you’ve got a great idea.
2. Upload it to YouTube or Vimeo.
3. Submit a link to the competition site.
4. Winners will be chosen through a combination of their film’s popularity and a professional judging panel.

The eight winning entries will go on an amazing trip to Cape Canaverel, Florida, for a once-in-a-lifetime zero-gravity experience.
