GLOBAL – Back in December we wrote about a competition for budding filmmakers, who – armed with a Nokia N8 – could win a zero-gravity experience if they made something amazing. The winners have been picked and they recently embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime flight to experience zero-gravity.
Nine excited – but nervous – Nokia N8 Producers winners buckled their seatbelts inside a modified Boeing 727, which took them to 24,000 feet above the earth. Once at that height, the pilot pulled the plane upwards at a 45 degree angle until it reacheed 34,000 feet and is then steered at the same angle back down again. The occupants of the plane experiened weightlessness for around 30 seconds, where they either float, spun in the air, or pretended to fly.

These videos really highlight what can now be achieved with a Nokia N8. There’s no need to spend lots of money on specialised equipment, just pull the phone out of your pocket and you can get amazing results.
