Nokia ringtone interrupts Violist!

Some of you may have already seen this. But just in-case you hadn’t, I couldn’t resist bringing it to your attention! It also made us think about all the different types of instruments you could play the Nokia ringtone on at home. So i’ve included a couple of little tutorials for those budding musicians out there….

This is precisely why you turn your mobile phone off when attending a concert of classical music. But I don’t think the perpetrator expected what was coming next from the talented Slovakian musician Lukáš Kmit……

The video was posted online half way through 2011 but has just gone viral in the last few days.

I play the guitar pretty badly but I’m definitely going to try and play the Nokia ringtone tonight on my guitar, this guy has inspired me. Ideally I’d like to try it on the Viola but i’ve never had to chance to learn, have you? This video also made me think that you guys at home may want to learn how to play the tune.

Here is a quick lesson for the guitar, tab included:

Now some of you may not have a guitar, so here is how you play on a Keyboard/Piano (a little trickier if you ask me):

For those of you that don’t want to play the tune then check out how the Nokia ringtone has changed over the years. Alternatively just in-case you missed our ’10 cool things that happened in October’ have a listen to DJ Valerio Alessandro Sizzi’s winning entry for a new Nokia tune.
