Extreme Sports in action – all on the Lumia 900

Last week on Nokia Connects we introduced three exceptional young talents in the Extreme Sports world. BMX rider James Ivett, skateboarder Jed Cullen and freerunner Pip Andersen. During Mobile World Congress, we challenged all three to test the newly announced Lumia 900 to the limit and make videos of them skating, riding and running around Barcelona, by taking amazing photos and checking into awe-inspiring rooftop locations.

James Ivett BMX in Barcelona with the Nokia Lumia 900

If you thought Nokia phones already had a reputation for being supremely durable, this video will show you how it has been put to the test while James bunny hops, grinds and tailwhips his way through the streets of Barcelona on his BMX, guided to a skatepark by Nokia Maps

Jed Cullen skates Barcelona with the Nokia Lumia 900

If that’s not enough for you, how about jumping on a skateboard and throwing on Nokia’s Mix Radio while you cruise around flipping and jumping like you were just born to do it? This is Jed’s preferred approach to the challenge…

Pip Andersen free running Barcelona with the Nokia Lumia 900

Then again, unlocking the explorer and adventurer within yourself can also be exhilarating, as Pip demonstrates free flowing fluid movement, much like the Lumia experience itself, he shows how once you’ve reached something amazing there’s only one thing left to do; share it with the world

Are you inspired?

These are just three of the millions of stories out there waiting to be experienced and shared. We want to find, spotlight and help tell them all with Nokia Lumia smartphones. If you have an amazing idea, an amazing passion or an adventure you are about to embark on, get it touch with us and tell us all about it. We’ll help bring your project or sport to life with a Nokia Lumia trial. What are you waiting for?
