Nokia Lumia 925: Patrick Walsh

It’s time to take a look at how people are getting along with the Nokia Lumia 925 and Smart Camera application. Last time, we flew high in the sky and then took to an abandoned hospital for some low light testing.

To kick-off this week let’s look at the opposite of low light, bright sunlight. These images from Dani over at project DNA show how well the camera can cope in bright light, as well as the AMOLED screen.

“The Nokia Lumia 925 raises the bar above similar smartphones by arriving with a Carl Zeiss Lens featuring PureView technology and an AMOLED screen display bringing rich colours to your images, and the capability to shoot images in bright sunlight without losing sight of the image on the screen display.” Dani

OK the last image was in low light but it’s really cool and freaky and I like it.

Moving on! Patrick Walsh has been using the Smart Camera app with some amazing results. I’m in love with these Action and Motion focus shots.

I think the hand spring is one of the best we’ve seen so far. It’s so simple and elegant. It’s a very ‘enjoy life’ photo. Take a look at David’s Nokia Lumia 925 flickr set for more brilliant photography.

I can’t fit them all in here but if you’re wondering how the cameras compare on a touristy day out, have a look at his low light comparison and day time shootout.
