Spotify Radio comes to Windows Phone 8

The popular music streaming service Spotify has been available on Lumia for a while now. However, today’s update brings some improvements and a much-requested feature.

Music-lovers and Spotify-DJs (that’s you) can now listen to Radio to discover new and old favourite bands, artists or tracks.

Simply select one of your favourite songs or artists and Spotify builds a playlist based on your first choice.

With millions of tracks to choose from, both the Discover and Browse sections of the app make it really simple to find what you’re looking for.

Create your own playlists, or browse your friends’ and listen to your heart’s content either online or offline by downloading entire playlists.

Other improvements include a refreshed UX (user experience) to make it look and feel more familiar for people who may have used the service on other devices.

This updated version of Spotify is available for Windows Phone 8 smartphones, and is available to download today from the Windows Phone store – for free.
