How will you #MakeItHappen in 2015? Share and you may win!

Tell us your New Year’s resolution for a chance to win one of 10 Lumia 830 smartphones and a Fitbit.

In December, Microsoft Lumia helped 31 people from around the world fulfill 31 different resolutions for 2014.

Now, we want to help jump-start one of your resolutions for 2015.

It could be to “walk at least 10,000 steps a day,” “eat vegetables at every meal” or even “complete an Ironman triathlon.” Whatever your challenge this new year, share it with us on our #MakeItHappen page.

Then, share it with friends and family and get them excited about how they can #MakeItHappen in 2015, too. After all, sharing your resolutions improves your chances of actually fulfilling them, as recent research suggests.

Ten people who share their resolution will win a Lumia 830 smartphone and a Fitbit. Entering couldn’t be more simple. Just make your way to the #MakeItHappen page and share your resolution. It’s that easy.

If you’re scratching your head for ideas, there’s a whole gallery of submitted resolutions to inspire you. They include:

  • “I will drink more water and get more sleep.” – Amy Stonger
  • “I will help someone every time possible and not get irritated by people.” – Sowmya Fesenbeck
  • “I will get daily exercise and keep track of my blood pressure.” – April Johnson
  • “I will start my own business.” – Adesola Gbolahan
  • “I will become a rock star.” – Elena Tezina

Remember, if you share your New Year’s resolutions, you’re more likely to accomplish them!

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to run a half-marathon in under 1 hour and 50 minutes (that’s my current personal best). There, I’ve made my resolution public. I’ll let you know when I’ve completed it.

What’s your resolution? Share it and #MakeItHappen!
