For some people, today is merely May 4. For Star Wars fans, it’s May the Fourth (pretend you’re Obi-Wan Kenobi with a lisp and it sounds like “May the Force”), a high holiday to celebrate the classic science-fiction franchise.

Star Wars Wallpapers (99 cents)
Enjoy a selection of more than 100 HD wallpapers hand-picked from the first six “Star Wars” movies and the “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” animated series. Each wallpaper scales uniformly on all Windows Phone devices.
Save them to your photos hub and then make one your lock screen. You can also make one your Start page background theme by going into the “start + theme” section of Settings.

This unofficial app includes more than 150 sound clips from the films, including a soundboard of popular quotes (“It’s a trap!” and “I am your father”) and six tunes that can be turned into ring tones.
Unleash the Force
Lightsaber (free)
Turn your Lumia into a tiny little lightsaber. Using the phone’s motion-detecting sensors, swing your smartphone to create random combat sounds.
Wave lightly to make a swooping sound or swipe hard to make a slashing noise. Select from one of five epic “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” characters such as Yoda, Darth Vader, and Obi-Wan to have the screen mimic their iconic lightsaber.
Ultimate Saber (free)
With eight different lightsaber hilts, eight different guns, and the ability to conjure lightning, Ultimate Saber is a dream “Star Wars” weapon-simulation app. My favorite part is switching the guns to first-person mode and using the Lumia camera to target friends and spray them with laser fire.
Ultimate Saber supports 21 languages and even has an interactive tutorial to show you how to operate it.
Return of the Six
