Get the most out of your Windows Phone experience with these practical apps that you may use every day.

We previously shared some utility apps for Lumia smartphones such as the Lumia 540 Dual SIM, the Lumia 640 and the Lumia 640 XL. Now, here are more useful apps you should know about.

Analog Clock Tile (free)

With a wide selection of analog and digital clocks, the Analog Clock Tile brings your Start
Screen to life. The apps offers multiple tiles with background colors and lets you pin different time zones on your Start screen. Give a title to your different tiles and get minute-by-minute updates across time zones.

Currency (free)

Convert and get the most up-to-date currency rates with XE Currency (over
WiFi). Select your base currency and add other currencies for quick conversion. Once done, the exchange rates will be stored for later reference.
There is also a built-in calculator in the app. Nifty feature: Shake your Lumia to reset it!

Simple Metronome (free) 

A must-have app for musicians, Simple Metronome makes it easy to practice songs and pieces at different tempos. The app lets you set
the pace by touching the screen of your Lumia, producing a steady beat (or pulse) to help you play a song’s time signature and rhythms accurately.

The app offers a wide tempo range from grave to prestissimo, or from 32 to 240 beats per minute.

8 Zip Lite (free) 

Extract files by zipping them or archive them as encrypted files on your Lumia with 8 Zip Lite. The app also features a built-in viewer and media player so you can open common image and video formats such as .jpeg, .png, .mp4,  and .mkv.
