Microsoft Band: available for pre-order in Australia
The new Microsoft Band allows you to track your heart rate, exercise, calories burned and sleep quality, while keeping you connected and productive with customizable email, text, and calendar alerts.
The new Microsoft Band now also features an eleventh sensor, a barometer, to measure elevation gain and loss with even more precision. Great for hiking, biking or even floors climbed.
Plus, built-in GPS stores your data right on your wrist, so you have the option of leaving your mobile device at home while you hit the trail or the road. Once you have synced your new Microsoft Band with the Microsoft Health mobile app, you can view your stats, get a map of your ride, and get insights on your performance.
You can also download Guided Workouts, designed by fitness experts such as Gold’s Gym to keep you active, while the new music controls allow you to control your music directly from your Microsoft Band.
And, the new Microsoft Band is compatible across platforms, allowing you to use it with your Windows Phone, iPhone® and Android™ device*.
Pre-orders in Australia began last week at the Microsoft Store (Online). Those who pre-order will begin to receive their new Microsoft Band as early as January 21. The new Microsoft Band retails for $379.99 AU.
