If you’re heading to Unite 2013, the annual event for Unity developers held this year August 27-30 in Vancouver, Canada, get ready to enjoy the expert help and advice of a whole crew of Microsoft experts who’ll be there. Unity makes it easy to go cross-platform, so, porting to Windows Phone and Windows is fairly easy and opens up the opportunity to reach millions of new users. At the event, Microsoft experts are ready and waiting to answer any questions you might have as you bring your games to Windows Phone and to the Windows Store. This “Porting Lab” will be open throughout the event, so you can talk to our experts, get a jumpstart on porting your game, and find a great variety of devices to test on. So bring your laptops and game code, because we’ll be here every day and well into the evening to help you get your games up and shining on our platforms.

We have a session just for those we might be totally new to publishing apps and games to Windows Phone and Windows Store. On Wednesday, August 28, at 2:30 PM, in a one-hour session “Discover the Windows Store & Windows Phone Store: Opportunities, Monetization, Getting Started” we’ll present opportunities and go over monetization options. We’ll also give platform details and tips to help you jumpstart developing and porting your Unity game to these new platforms.

During this session, Jodon will share his experience, tips, and tricks for using the platform. It’s a not-to-be-missed opportunity to get great advice and information from a Unity pioneer.
