New Windows Blogger, Mommy Style

Hello, my name is Lisa Worthington. I’m excited to be joining my colleagues Brandon, “Ben The PC Guy” and Ashley on Windows Experience Blog as our expert in all things that moms and parents in general (not to leave out the dads out there!) want to know relative to Windows and your family’s PC experience. I have a husband who loves to game and two young daughters, “A” and “K,” who keep me on my toes but add a lot of fun to a very chaotic life. As a mom myself, I hope to start a dialog with other moms through my blogging here.

I’m about to take off for BlogHer ’10 in New York this week, where I’ll be hearing directly from many of today’s most influential blogger moms. As you may have seen on the Windows Experience Blog this morning, my colleague Ben will also be at BlogHer this week AND he’s giving away some cool new Windows 7 PCs, so make sure you check out details on how to win one! With my Windows colleagues handling sessions from the Windows suite and doing demos in the Geek Lab, I’ll be attending conference sessions, networking and learning as much as I can as a fellow “mommy blogger”. I look forward to meeting other BlogHer attendees at the event sessions and progressive parties.

Ongoing, I’ll be blogging about various topics such as Windows Live Family Safety (easy tips including how to set time limits, web restrictions and control access to games), digital photos (editing, organizing and sharing), and tips for turning your family PC into the digital entertainment hub.

Look for my next post following BlogHer and you can follow me on Twitter for regular tweets from the event: @WinMommyLisa.
