How-to: Restore SkyDrive files missing from the Office Hub

If you woke up this morning, checked your phone’s Office Hub, and didn’t see some of your OneNote notebooks or Office docs—don’t panic. As the Windows Live team explained on its blog yesterday, a recent SkyDrive upgrade is causing some Windows Phone owners to see a message saying their Office documents were deleted from the SkyDrive servers or can’t be downloaded.

Your docs are just fine, as the Windows Live team explained. But to make them reappear, you’ll need to reset the Office Hub. It’s a quick workaround, but take care because it will delete any Office docs saved locally on your phone. So make sure to e-mail them to yourself first. You’ll find step-by-step instructions in the Windows Live blog post and here on Microsoft Answers.
