Tech Tuesday Live Twitter Chat: Picture Perfect Holiday Photos with Southwest Airlines #win7tech

When you think of taking and creating great family photos, you might not immediately think of your Windows 7 PC as the central destination point. But with your Windows 7 PC combined with Windows Live Photo Gallery, you can manage, edit and share all those great holiday portraits. That is one of the reasons why Windows partnered with Southwest airlines to bring you the opportunity to take holiday photos while in malls and airports across America.

I don’t have children and my family hasn’t travelled since the last time we went to Disney World when I was 11, but I see lots and lots of families rushing through the airports. I know they are always looking for ways to kill time and save time – luckily this does both. You can entertain your children by having a quick holiday photo, teach them to use Windows Live Photo Gallery (or yourself if you aren’t familiar) and save yourself the hassle of going to have professional photos taken.

This week during our Tech Tuesday Live Twitter Chat, we are being joined by Southwest to discuss travel, holiday travel, getting your photos taken in airports around the country and great photo features to ensure picture perfect holidays! Plus, we’ll be giving away 1 set of round-trip tickets for domestic travel anywhere in the US.

To prepare:

Note we will only be talking about the outlined topic each week and we will not be answering questions outside those topics. Questions for this week may include: “What is Photo Fuse? Is Windows Live Photo Gallery free? Where can I get a family photo taken?”
