Memorial Day is the official kick-off to summer travel. Whether you are road-tripping, flying or cruising your way to summer bliss, you are likely taking your technology. As a girl with a huge amount of wanderlust, I know a thing or two about travelling. My hard and fast rules:
- Travel with something light and fast.
- Know you’ll likely have dodgy internet connections.
- Always back up your cameras on your PC as soon as possible.
- Do something that terrifies you.
I think travel is the best time to push your boundaries, try new things and capture all of your favorite moments. I recently took a trip to Belgium, France and Ireland searching for inspiration, meeting old friends and for a bit of rest. In the end, I never found time for resting but I did take a few great photos that you can see here, in SkyDrive.
I took two PCs with me, a point and shoot camera, a DSLR and a phone – but I might be a bit of a technology hog. If you are looking for great travel items to purchase, this slideshow showcases the best of what is currently on the market.
