Now in the Store: KooZac, a popular puzzler

Last month I spotlighted some addictive puzzle games for your phone. Here’s one more for the list: KooZac ($2.99), a popular and award-winning title billed as a mash up of Tetris and Sudoku, just released under the Xbox LIVE banner today. Try or buy it now

The goal of KooZac is to line up falling numbered blocks so they add up to a target sum. When you do, the blocks disappear and you score points. (I’m already seeing this game as a stealth way to improve my kid’s addition skills.) Various boosts, bonuses, and power blocks help keep things interesting. KooZac has options for playing puzzles with yourself, your Facebook friends, or the world—in three different modes. Give it a shot and tell me what you think.
