Similar to how we seek out “beauty and brains” in potential partners, we hope for the same qualities in a computer. A large part of choosing and owning a computer is in its aesthetic appeal, but more than that, your PC needs to fit both your stylistic tastes and lifestyle needs.
Tomorrow during our weekly Tech Tuesday Live Twitter Chat, we will be showcasing one that might be right for you: the Sony VAIO Duo 13.
Join us to hear directly from @SonyElectronics about VAIO Duo 13 facts, tips, and tricks, and to try your hand at winning the heart of this beauty (and brains). One lucky participant* in the #winchat will walk away with one!
To join our discussion on the VAIO Duo 13:
- Get on Twitter from 12:00-1:00 PST (3:00-4:00 EST) on Tuesday, July 16th
- Follow the hashtag #winchat
- Follow @microsoftOEM, @sonyelectronics, @windows, @kristinalibby, and @windowsblog for the whole picture.
To whet your appetite, here’s an overview of what makes the VAIO a great PC.
Beauty on the Outside: The VAIO Duo 13, at a mere 2.93 lbs encased in carbon fiber (black or white), has a Surf Slider design and a slimmer hinge that allows for a quick and seamless transition between tablet and laptop modes. The 13.3” Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel LCD with TRILUMINOS touchscreen LCD guarantees that anything shown, searched, or displayed on the screen will have beautiful, natural, and crisp colors. It has a multi-gesture touchpad that allows you to intuitively scroll, zoom, swipe, and even rotate pages or images.
Beauty on the Inside: The VAIO Duo 13 contains the fourth generation of Intel Core and has a Core i7 processor to deliver maximized performance. Always performing well and never taking a break, it has innovative standby technology that allows the PC to remain connected to the internet even while in sleep mode. This way, it can continue to update applications and receive notifications while asleep. It delivers up to 10 hours of battery life and has the ability to charge personal devices through USB ports even while the computer is powered down.
Talented: The VAIO Duo 13 has amazing artistic capabilities: with the pressure-sensitive digitizer stylus, you can create masterpieces (oil paintings, water colors, sketches, you name it!) in ArtRage Studio and VAIO Movie Creator. Its 8-megapixel rear-facing camera epitomizes the new CamScanner application, allowing you to take crisp images of documents clear enough to replace the merits of a bulky scanner.
See you all tomorrow!
