ALCATEL announces their first Windows 10 2-in-1 with 4G Connectivity
At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week our partners are unveiling a number of new Windows 10 devices. I look forward to sharing more details on these incredible new devices here on the Windows Blog.
ALCATEL announced their new ALCATEL PLUS 10, a beautiful 10 inch 2-in-1 device powered by Windows 10. This new device joins their Windows 10 phone, the Fierce XL. We’re excited about ALCATEL’s contributions to the Windows ecosystem and believe the PLUS 10 is an excellent portable 2-in-1.

With Continuum, the PLUS 10 offers the best in a 2-in-1 experience, seamlessly transitioning between tablet and laptop modes. The PLUS 10 can also be docked for a complete desktop experience.
Your Mobile Office
The PLUS 10 comes with 4G/Wi-Fi- connectivity out of the box helping users be connected wherever and whenever they need to be. It can be also used in a variety of modes, either as a laptop or tablet. And I shouldn’t forget that the unique PLUS 10 can serve as a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 15 devices.
Entertainment Center for Movies or Gaming
The Plus 10 is also perfect for viewing your favorite entertainment when used in dock mode. The dual front speakers, with immersive 3D sound, coupled with the high-resolution (1280 x 800) IPS screen technology are great for watching movies or playing games.
Perfect Travel Companion
The Plus 10 is a fantastic travel companion, exceptionally convenient to carry at 40 percent lighter than an average laptop. It comes equipped with a double battery when used with the 4G LTE keyboard, and can last a full 8-hour working day. When used in tablet mode, without the keyboard, it is even more portable, perfect for travel or commuting. In this mode, you can easily browse the Web, play games or read books. Not to mention, taking pictures or having a Skype call, using either of the front and rear-facing camera, along with front flash.
All the Extras
The Plus 10 has multiple ports, including a standard USB, micro USB and micro HDMI, you can leave your adapters behind. The full-sized USB port on the keyboard dock, enables you to easily connect to external accessories like a hard drive, mouse, USB key, secondary screen and more. And with a default memory configuration of 32 GB, that can be increased with an external SD card, it scales to all the data storage needs you may have.
The Plus 10 will be offered in several different finishes and colors: metallic silver, matte white, matte volcano black and a warm gray leather finish. Plus 10 will be available for sale in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa in June 2016.
