Hands-on with the upcoming strategy game Gears Tactics, coming to PC April 28 and now available for pre-order

Gears Tactics, the latest chapter in the Gears of War saga, arrives on Windows 10 PC, Steam and with Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) on April 28. Jeff Rubenstein of the Xbox team got his (well-sanitized) hands on it for a few hours, and gives his full report in a new post on Xbox Wire.

We encourage you to read his post, but whether you do or not, you can pre-order Gears Tactics now or play with Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) before May 4 to receive the Thrashball Cole Character Pack, which includes Augustus Cole as a recruit and the Thrashball Armor Set, complete with rare abilities.
