At CES 2023 ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) showcased an array of Windows 11 PCs for gamers and creators through its “Seeing An Incredible Future” virtual launch event, including its newest lineup of thin-and-light Zephyrus gaming laptops, which come with cooling improvements, better display options and chip upgrades from Intel, AMD and NVIDIA.

All models include three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate providing access to hundreds of high-quality PC games.* And with Windows 11, there are many ways to enhance professional and personal pursuits, such as Focus sessions, snap layouts and Clipchamp.

2023 Zephyrus M16

ROG has redesigned the ultra-sleek 2023 Zephyrus M16 from the ground up, retaining a thin-and-light design but now including an improved cooling system featuring Tri-Fan Technology, which routes air from three fans through precisely calculated cutouts toward the heatsink for more efficient cooling. This allows the device to run 25 watts higher compared to last year’s model — providing even more power to the Intel Core i9 13900H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus in this flagship gaming machine. This is also the first 16-inch device equipped with ROG’s AniMe Matrix LED lighting array. This 16-inch canvas translates into larger, more creative animations, shining through thousands of precision-milled holes in the lid of the chassis for a customizable one-of-a-kind look.

ROG Zephyrus Duo 16

The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 is a dual-screen powerhouse made up of a 16-inch Mini LED panel and a 4K touchscreen that slides to meet it automatically as the laptop is opened. The Duo 16 has been upgraded with even more power, featuring an AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processor with 16 cores and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU with a MUX Switch. No matter how many tasks gamers are juggling at once, it has all the tools needed to maximize frames per second and productivity.

ROG Strix SCAR 18

The ROG Strix SCAR 18 has undergone a chassis redesign to accommodate a larger 18-inch 16:10 aspect-ratio screen. ROG has also amped up the cooling performance of this new chassis, allowing more headroom for the CPU and GPU to boost for maximum framerates. Now equipped with an extra thick full-width heatsink and Tri-Fan Technology, there’s much more efficient removal of waste heat. Combined with Thermal Grizzly’s Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal, now applied to both the CPU and GPU, ROG has pushed the performance of the SCAR 18 even further for the high-end hardware inside. That includes a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 13980HX processor, with 8 Performance-cores and 16 Efficient-cores. Max out the machine with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU at 175 W, with the thermal headroom to allow the silicon to boost higher and longer than ever before.

ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED

The ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED is a 3D OLED creator mobile workstation with a nifty feature: the laptop screen can lie flat, offering any viewing angle up to 180 degrees. With its 3.2K 120 Hz display, content creators and gamers can view 3D photos, videos, or even games without glasses or headsets. This means being able to create 3D visual content faster, as it’s more intuitive. With the flick of a switch, users can seamlessly convert 2D visual content to immersive 3D in real time with ASUS Spatial Vision technology. Creating and designing flows quickly with its 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPU, up to 64 GB of upgradeable memory and ultrafast storage. A large, stylus-compatible haptic touchpad and the intuitive ASUS Dial rotary control offer ultimate precision and control in apps.

The Zenbook 14X OLED has a thin-and-light chassis and comes in two colors, Sandstone Beige and Inkwell Gray. The former has a lid made from a new ecofriendly Plasma Ceramization coating technique that creates a ceramic-like finish and stone-like feel. And inside, there’s up to the latest 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor, studio-grade NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, 32 GB of fast LPDDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. There’s also a bigger 14.5-inch 16:10 2.8K 120 Hz OLED HDR NanoEdge display and a longer-lasting 70 Wh battery.
