AMD is introducing this GPU to cater to gamers and PC enthusiasts who are looking for great performance but want to spend $150 or less. The Radeon HD 6790 will run about $149 MSRP and is designed with “HD gaming” – gaming at HD resolutions – in mind. The GPU is optimized for running games at a 1080p (1920×1080). It also supports Eyefinity for the use of multiple displays (total number of displays depends on partner). And of course it brings in DirectX 11 with Windows 7. It has a clock speed of 840 MHz and 1GB of GDDR5 memory. For the full specs on the Radeon HD 6790, click here.

If you’re a gamer running an older Radeon GPU – this card should definitely be looked at if you’re looking to upgrade!
