Nokia Black Poll Results: What’s your favourite feature?

Last week we asked you to tell us your favourite feature from the Nokia Black update, and now the results are in.

From the ability to see notifications on the Glance Screen, to new settings and updates, to folders on the Start Screen, it’s an exciting new world for Lumia owners, and it’s great to see which features you like the most.

So here are your three favourite features that accompanied the Nokia Black update. In third place, taking just under 12 per cent of the vote, is Nokia Beamer.

You can use Nokia Beamer to mirror your onscreen images wirelessly, making it possible to show off photographs on Smart TVs, laptops, tablets and other devices with Wi-Fi. Because it’s so much easier to share your photographs, it’s no surprise that Nokia Beamer is so popular.

Nokia App Folder takes second place, also taking just under 12 per cent of the vote. Nokia App Folder was released alongside Nokia Black, and lets you add folders for apps and settings to your Start Screen.

And in first place, proving far more popular than any other feature, and taking over 40 per cent of the vote, is the updated Nokia Glance Screen. The latest version of Nokia Glance Screen offers more customisation, and you can now add notifications to the screen alongside the time.

Your opinions

We also asked for your comments and opinions of Nokia Black, and here’s what some of you had to say:

“The most helpful feature for me is the driving mode,” says Vishal Raj, while Hradayesh Nimavat highlights the “ability to close apps through the close button” as a favourite feature.

Nazir Taib explains “I like the Glance Screen with notifications the most,” putting Nokia Storyteller into second place. “I use it a lot,” says Nazir, “to show my vacation pictures to my friends. It’s really nice.”

Ironman says “The best feature is that you can put your own message sound on the phone, add to a contact and also to other notifications. It’s a feature that no Android or iOS phone has.”

Do you agree with the results or are you a fan of the features lower down in the poll? Leave a comment and let us know.
