Poll results: Your favourite Windows Phone 8.1 feature

When we asked you which Windows Phone 8.1 feature you loved the most, you answered. Here’s what you voted for.


With its quick-look notifications and system toggle switches, the new Action Center collected 29 per cent of your votes.

Cortana, the new digital personal assistant, came in second place scoring nearly 17 per cent of the votes.

For the personalisation junkies out there, having the ability to change the Live Tiles was a total win. Start screen background images secured 13 per cent.

As for the rest of the list, here’s how they fared:

  • Extra column of Live Tiles – 10 per cent
  • Individual volume settings – 9 per cent
  • Updated calendar with week view – 4 per cent
  • Storage Sense – 3 per cent
