New MSN Preview Rebuilt for Touch, Shines on Internet Explorer 10

Yesterday over on the MSN blog, they previewed an exciting new version of MSN. Now, users can have the news they rely on, but faster and with enhanced interactivity. The new site is everything a modern web experience should be and it absolutely comes to life with IE10.

IE10 offers a fast and fluid browsing experience that is perfect for touch and perfect for the new MSN. The site now takes advantage of IE10’s hardware acceleration to showcase high resolution images and a modern UI. The new site also features Flip Ahead letting users flip through articles, videos and pictures with the flip of a finger. It also makes full use of Snap, letting users multi-task while they catch up on the news of the day.

The new site is the latest in a series of amazing new web experiences that show off the power of HTML5 and IE10, including TheFind, Pulse and Atari.

Everyone will be able to get their hands on the new MSN on October 26th, when Internet Explorer 10 and Windows 8 are available to the world.  In the meantime, be sure to check out the MSN blog for more details.
