If you are like me, tis’ the season to look back and reflect on the past 12 months. It’s the time of year to share your favorite memories and experiences of 2009 with the people most important to you, and Windows Live Movie Maker and Windows Live Messenger help you do just that. To help you connect with friends and family, the Windows Live Team will be giving away 5 Microsoft LifeCam Cinema HD webcams (see my post here for information on the LifeCam Cinema) on Twitter this Thursday, December 10th. Winners will be able to use their new LifeCams to make video greetings for friends and family using Windows Live Movie Maker, or chat face-to-face video chats in Windows Live Messenger.
To enter the contest (U.S. only – see rules) – simply tell us how you plan to stay in touch with friends and family during the holidays. Make sure you’re following @WindowsLive account on Twitter. Around 9am PST on December 10th, the @WindowsLive account will send out a tweet asking how you plan to stay connected over the holidays. When this happens, reply to @WindowsLive with your answer and use the #WinLive hashtag. You will have until 2:00pm PST on December 10th to retweet your answer which will automatically enter you in our random drawing to win one of the LifeCams. The 5 winners will be notified via Twitter on the morning of December 11th. We will also announce the winners in a blog post here the week of December 14th. Good luck!
