Windows Enthusiast Meet-up in Houston on November 30th

I am posting this on behalf of Wendy Stidmon, a Program Manager on the Windows PC Ecosystem Team. Wendy does enthusiast engagement – which means her job is to interact with folks like you. She and I thought we’d pass along some information for an event happening in Houston you may want to check out…

We want to highlight Windows enthusiast meet-up happening later this month in Houston, Texas. This meet-up is being organized by Michael “Mikinho” Welter, a Senior Editor for MissingRemote.com, who is also one of our Windows Entertainment and Connected Home MVPs. Michael is coordinating an enthusiast meet-up around the “Connected Home” theme. The event is Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 6-9:00 p.m. at PageSoutherlandPage, and is open to the public. If you plan to attend, you can RSVP for the meet up here.

This promises to be an exciting event, with great demos, knowledgeable experts, and an opportunity for some hands-on time with the latest gear. If you’re in the Houston area and are an HTPC enthusiast or aspiring to do more with digital entertainment around your home, this is the place to be. We’d love hear from attendees about their feedback via blog, twitter, pics or videos, Facebook, etc. If you attend the event, please use the #HoustonWinMeet hashtag so we can track your tweets!

Thanks!
