Tech Tuesday Live Twitter #Chat: Too Much Tech #win7tech

Do you have too much tech in your life? What is too much tech? My co-worker @Brandonleblanc thinks it might be impossible to have too many PCs or too many gadgets. Yet, I often wonder if I do in my life. Do I need 4GBs of RAM? What exactly is a GB of RAM anyway? If you happen to be like me and have a lot of unanswered tech questions, this chat is for you. We’ll explain answers to questions that you have always wondered about, those questions that you’ve never wondered about and those that you didn’t even know you should be thinking about.

To make an example, I’m a tech enthusiast but I really only use my PC for work, writing documents, sending emails and occasionally uploading photos. Not, to mention I sort of love to play Beastie Boys on repeat in my office. That though is a story for another time though. As my actual tech needs are really so small, almost any PC will do. In the end, all I really care about is color and style. With those things in mind, Ben matched me up with a perfect PC – an 11” Sony VAIO Y and I love it, not to mention it costs under $800 and it’s PINK! When I was rocking my previous PC, it simply had more tech than I needed.

Join @Windows, @windowsblog, @Benthepcguy, @Brandonleblanc and @kristinalibby using the hashtag #win7tech this Tuesday from 12-1pm on Twitter to follow this discussion. In the meantime, there are some great videos and blog posts that can start to answer your questions:

Do you have questions that you want to make sure get answered first? If so, feel free to drop the questions in the comments section below and well see you tomorrow as you (and I) learn if you actually have too much tech or just the right amount of tech for what you need.

Note we will only be talking about the outlined topic each week and we will not be answering questions outside those topics. Questions for this week may include: What is the best PC for a student gamer? Do I need a DSLR camera? Can I do everything I need with a netbook?
